Product Description
The Téméraire class from 1782 onwards were the numerically largest class of battleships ever built to a single design. Designed by Jacques-Noël Sané, 97 vessels, each of 74 guns, were laid down between 1782 and 1813.
Superbe (launched 1784 at Brest) was lost in a storm in January 1795. Three masted, with two decks, seventy-six guns, and extreme manoeuvrability won the Superbe a lot of admirers, including the English. On the Superbe, Pepys commented, with some exaggeration, “She was forty feet broad, carried seventy-four guns and six months provision”. She requiring seven hundred men for the smooth running of the vessel.
The model is highly detailed and textured, and the product contains four resolutions of the model.
This model is a 3DMax model, saved in version 7 as a MAX file, and requires 3DMax or Gmax to open the model. It does not include any other formats to allow it to be opened in any other software. The model is mapped and textured.
