Desert Rats, this the second in a series I´m doing, it was set up in poser 7 for the figures & the panzer MkIV, then was imported into vue 6 & scenery was added. Rendered in vue. The products used were the panzer IV the panko : vietnam pouches, hm service, from VP. Bren from De Espona. Turban Freebie from renderosity, & clothes from Poser world. All the clothes were retextured, the MkIV was partially retxured for the turret. The original image was posted at renderosity, but I wasnt happy with the composition & lighting... I think this one came out nicer! Your comment would be appreciated, thx for looking. |

An excellent image, but I have a few suggestions.
You nned to use some ambient occlusion in the rendering, which will make the figures appear more connected to the ground, at the moment they look a bit like they are floating ever so slightly. In Vue, if you are using drop to surface, always move the figures a little more down, to make the "sink" into the ground a little bit.
I would move the tank down a bit as well, tanks are heavy, and they sink into sand, they don`t sit on top of it like that.
I would also turn down the highlights on the British helmets, they were painted a dull mat finish, not a glossy finish:

Poses and shadows are excellent; draped Nazi flag over the tank is a nice touch. I agree however that the lighting is a bit off, and the shiny helmets seem a bit "plastic."
