Without pointing out that anyone would be in shock after having their leg blown off (and probably passed out from loss of blood), you might want to reduce the ambience on the blood and apply some kind of reflection map (of - and you should have quite a bit more of it).
Wouldn`t hurt to add some dirt and grime to the vehicle map, either.
