Using the VPM1 US Para, retexturing the para using algerian era lizard camies & making my own webbing & head gear I came up with French Para Legionairies of the Algerian war era. A simple little render setup in poser & using 3D nerds cavern systeme & the terradome for poser I came up this. The Mat 49 & Colt M1911 holster is from panko, The Sikorski H-58 helicopter was found at archibase.net as a freebie & retextured. The binocs came from Share CG also retextured. The head gear, webbing (canteen, belt, suspenders ammo pouches for the Mat 49), scarves are all characters & props made by me. No post work, rendered in poser. |

Very good work! Nice little touch with the thick souls on their jump boots, and the "lizard cap" is spot on. Not to sure about the cammie pattern, but it looks authentic for the period.
And so ... The only reason I only gave you an 8 are those Scarves! Not even the Legion are dumb enough to wear white scarves in a combat environment, eh? Now, the "cravate verte," ahh - that would be très bon (and appropriate...).
