The Hawker Harrier AV-813 is the US Navy version of the worlds only active service vertical take-off and landing jet fighter. This model is rigged for animation, and uses high detail texture maps allowing very close-up rendering.
The AV-8 series Harrier is a family of second-generation vertical/short takeoff and landing or V/STOL jet multirole aircraft of the late 20th century. British Aerospace rejoined the project in the early 1980s, and it is currently managed by Boeing/BAE Systems since the 1990s.
Developed from the earlier Hawker Siddeley Harriers, it is primarily used for light attack or multi-role tasks, typically operated from small aircraft carriers. Versions are used by several NATO countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, and the United States.

Canopy can open front-to-back (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
Engine exhaust vents can rotate up and down (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
Tail rudder can rotate (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
Landing gear can be hidden or shown.
Landing gear wheels (front, middle/ rear, and on wings) can rotate.
Landing gear doors can open and close (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
Two sets of left and right wing flaps can rotate up and down.
-An ERC dial on the BODY raises or lowers both flaps.
-A second ERC dial on the BODY raises or lowers the flaps opposite each other for banking turns.
The rear airbrake (located behind the middle/ rear landing gear) can open and close (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
The main engine blade (located behind the cockpit) can rotate (with an ERC dial on the BODY) for ease in animation.
Refueling hose/ pipe (located to the left-rear of the cockpit) can rotate outward and upward (with an ERC dial on the BODY) for in-flight refueling.
Modelled with three under-wing contact points on the right and left wings (and one under the fuselage) for missiles, bombs, or fuel tanks. Note: these are not included with this model.

In Flight: levels the aircraft, hides the landing gear, and closes the landing gear doors.
Landed: places the aircraft on the ground at a slight angle, shows the landing gear, and opens the landing gear doors.
Hide/ show landing gear, which also opens and closes the landing gear doors.

One set of texture maps, ranging in size from 300x300 to 1200x1050.
Texture templates are not included; if you want to make your own textures, use the existing textures as guidelines.
