Thank you for your interest in our current and upcoming projects. On this page, you'll find our listing of new contracts and job-openings, so be sure to check back regularly.

.: Client Projects :.
We are not commissioning any developers for client projects at this time. Please contact us if you would like to be added to our list of preferred modellers so we can contact you when a new project becomes available.

Details:

These are commissioned projects:
You will be paid an upfront fee for the work you do.
The payment will depend on the complexity of the model, the amount of work required, and the client's budget.
Ownership of the model/ end product will remain with the client.

Depending on the project, the modeller will be required to follow specific guidelines.
For example, if the project calls for a model of a "M101 HEMMT" military vehicle, the modeller will be expected to make this model to the specification provided by the client.
You must be dedicated and be able to take criticism and suggestions from fellow members. After all, this model/ product is for a client, and the client will be making the decisions.

The modeller must be willing to work on a schedule.
When a new project becomes available, we'll ask you for an estimated time of completion. If you're selected for a project, you will be required to complete the project within that timeframe.

Although this may seem like an obvious statement, we do NOT require you to travel anywhere. Anyone, from around the world, is welcome to apply.
If a project disallows vendors outside of the United States, this will be highlighted in the above Project List.

NDA and contracts:
If you are hired for a project, you must be willing to sign both a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and a contract which outlines such specifics as compensation, schedules, etc.

.: We're Buying Models :.
Are you a 3d modeller? Do you know a 3d modeller? Do you like to make models but you don't want the hassle of packaging your model for sale and then waiting for the monthly trickle of commission payments?
Vanishing Point is looking for people who are looking to sell their models.

Details:

This is a paid offer and payment will depend on the complexity of the model.
We can offer a higher price if you're willing to do extras to make the product more marketable, such as including promotional images, etc.
Please keep in mind that you'll be selling us the copyright, ownership, and resale rights to the model/ product.

We would like to see your previous work, so please have a website or portfolio ready to show.

Models/ products will be judged on how well we think the model will sell to our audience.
We can't guarantee we'll buy everything, but we'll gladly see what you have to offer.

At this time, we are currently not brokering products for published artists.
If you are interested in brokering your products, rather than selling them, we highly recommend brokering your product with Renderosity, the leader in Poser-community websites.
